Ingredients
- 1 c. margarine
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/3 c. white sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (16 oz.) bag chocolate chips
- 1 c. walnuts
Method
- Cream margarine and sugar until light.
- Beat in vanilla and eggs until smooth.
- Mix together dry ingredients.
- Beat into batter.
- Add chips and nuts.
- Drop onto baking sheets 1 heaping tablespoonful at a time.
- Bake for 12 minutes, turning sheets end for end at half way point.
- Bake at 325°.
- After removing from oven, let sit until cookies are firm before putting on racks to cool.
