Ingredients
- 1 gal. cabbage, chopped
- 6 or 8 onions, chopped
- 6 hot peppers
- 6 or 8 peppers, chopped (red and green)
- 6 carrots, shredded
- 1 c. salt
- 6 c. vinegar
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Method
- Sprinkle salt over vegetables.
- Let sit overnight.
- Next morning, rinse and drain.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Stir to dissolve sugar.
- Put in hot jars and seal.
- No cooking.
