Ingredients
- 2 lb. beef short ribs
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. California Burgundy wine
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
Method
- Place meat in large casserole or ovenproof dish.
- In mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients, blending well.
- Pour over meat, being careful to spoon on every piece of meat.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 1 hour, covered with foil.
- Remove foil or cover and bake 30 minutes longer (making 1 1/2 hours total cooking time).
- Serves 4.
