Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. boiling water

Method

  • Wash raisins and pour boiling water over them.
  • Let simmer while mixing the cornstarch, sugar, salt, lemon juice and oleo. Pour this mixture over the raisins.
  • Pour mixture into unbaked 9-inch pie shell and top with crust.
  • Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake until golden brown.
