Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake layer (made from mix)
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 3 Tbsp. hot water
Method
- Prepare and bake cake according to package directions.
- Cool cake completely.
- Prepare vanilla pudding according to package directions, using only 1 1/2 cups of milk.
- Chill until set.
- Cut cake into two thin layers.
- Spread pudding onto one layer and top with second layer.
- In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients until smooth.
- Pour glaze onto top of cake, allowing some to drizzle down the sides.
- Chill until ready to serve.
