- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 3 to 6 green onions, chopped and with some tops included
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can tomato bits (sauce)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced, or garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
Method
- Brown beef; drain fat.
- Add onions and cook lightly.
- Add sauces, salt, pepper, sugar and spices.
- Simmer 15 to 20 minutes. While cooking, combine cooked noodles, cottage cheese and sour cream in bowl.
