Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • pecan pieces, if desired

Method

  • Melt butter and add water and brown sugar.
  • Pour into the bottom of an 11 x 13-inch pan.
  • Add pecan pieces to sugar mixture, if desired, and then lay in the rolls.
  • Do not crowd, as rolls must rise again, doubling size.
  • Place in warm area, covered with towel, and allow to rise.
  • Bake in 400° oven for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly in pan and then flip out onto wax paper lined dish.
