Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Combine
- all
- dry
- ingredients.
- Add oil, eggs, pumpkin and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Add pecans.
- Divide batter into three parts and
- bake
- in greased and floured 1 pound coffee cans at 350° for 1 hour.
- Let cool slightly and carefully remove from cans; place on wire racks to cool.
