Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. warm milk
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 chopped and peeled apple

Method

  • Mix yeast and warm milk.
  • Mix butter, egg, sugar, salt and flour.
  • Add apple.
  • Let rise.
  • Then remove from bowl and knead. Roll into balls.
  • Dip in butter.
  • Place in greased angel food cake pan.
  • After each layer, place cinnamon sugar and pecans.
  • Then more balls, etc.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Drizzle while warm with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
