Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 regular size Cool Whip
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello

Method

  • Mix pretzels, margarine and sugar together.
  • Spread in square cake pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 375°.
  • Let this cool for 10 minutes.
  • Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until well blended. Add container of Cool Whip to cream cheese and sugar and mix. Pour mixture over crust.
  • Dissolve jello with hot water.
  • Add frozen strawberries and stir until thick.
  • Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until set, 1 hour.
