Ingredients
- 2 c. crushed pretzels
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 sticks melted butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
- 6 oz. strawberry Jell-O
- 2 c. hot pineapple juice
- 2 (10 oz.) cartons frozen strawberries
Method
- Combine pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar and the butter.
- Press into 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 350° and cool.
- Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and
- Cool Whip and pour over the pretzel crumbs.
- Dissolve Jell-O in hot pineapple juice.
- Add strawberries.
- Let partially congeal (30 to 35 minutes) and spread over cream cheese mixture.
- Chill until set.
