Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. each margarine, milk and cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 c. uncooked oats
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Method
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and milk.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper. Cookies will get firm as they cool.
- Makes 4 to 5 dozen. Freezes well.
