Ingredients

  • 4 c. potatoes
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 4 c. water

Method

  • Cook celery and onions 15 minutes.
  • Add potatoes, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder and pepper. Cook until potatoes are soft.
  • Mix together flour and evaporated milk.
  • Beat in egg and add.
  • Stir until thick.
  • Salt to taste.
  • May have to add more water.
