Ingredients
- instant potatoes
- 8 slices bread, crusts removed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- butter
- salt and pepper
Method
- Prepare instant potatoes for 8 to 12 servings as directed on the box.
- Add a little more milk than called for.
- Brown onion and celery in butter.
- Cube bread slices and add to onion and celery. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix bread mixture with potatoes. Put in casserole dish and bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes at 350°.
