- 1 1/2 lb. small cubes beef
- 3 cans beef broth
- 2 c. water
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 lb. chopped linguica
- 3 diced potatoes
- 3 diced carrots
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1/2 head chopped cabbage
Method
- Cook beef, broth, water, bay leaves, tomato sauce and pepper for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Add linguica, potatoes, carrots, celery and cabbage.
- Simmer, covered, 20 minutes.
- Serves 6 to 8 people.
