Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 lb cabbage
  • 4 lb porkchops bone in
  • 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp granulated garlic powder
  • 2 tsp sweet basil
  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar

Method

  • Rinse your pork well.
  • preheat oven to 350Fahrenheit
  • Rinse and chop your cabbage.
  • Line the bottom of a roaster just to cover with cabbage
  • Salt and garlic your porkchops both side.
  • Lay half your chops on top of cabbage.
  • Lay cabbage on top of chops then cabbage on top.
  • Sprinkle turmeric and salt on the cabbage Then tomatoes juice and all covering the top of it all, sprinkle the basil over the tomatoes.
  • Bake in the oven covered for 2 and a half hours.
  • Last fifteen minutes sprinkle with red wine vinegar.
