Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Mix rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salt, celery salt, garlic powder and pepper into ground beef.
  • Shape mixture by rounded tablespoonfuls into balls.
  • Place meatballs in ungreased baking dish.
  • Stir together tomato sauce, 1 cup water and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour over meatballs.
  • Cover with foil. Bake 45 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
