Ingredients

  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1/4 c. uncooked long grain rice
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Method

  • Combine egg, 1/4 cup of the tomato soup and next 5 ingredients. Add beef and mix well.
  • Shape into 20 meatballs.
  • Place in skillet. Mix remaining soup, 1/2 cup water and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour over meatballs.
  • Bring to boiling and reduce heat.
  • Simmer, covered, for 40 minutes, stirring often.
  • Makes 4 to 5 servings.
