Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. flour
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. almond extract
- 12 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Method
- Cream oleo and shortening.
- Add vanilla and almond extract. Mix in sugar, flour and pecans.
- Chill mixture for 1 hour.
- Roll into 1 inch balls and then roll out into crescents.
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 400°.
- They should brown only slightly.
- Remove from cookie sheet after cooling and roll in powdered sugar.
