Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3/4 c. lowfat sour cream
  • Any prepared fruit jam apricot, raspberry, strawberry, etc.

Method

  • Cream butter and butter; add in lowfat sour cream and beat together then add in egg yolk and mix again.
  • Add in flour a little at a time and mix well.
  • Chill for 1 hour.
  • Roll out dough and cut into squares of 3 inches.
  • Place dollop of jam filling in center of square and fold all corners to center.
  • Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 22 to 28 min till lightly browned.
  • When cold, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
