Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ripe plums, halved, pitted and cut into wedges
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. ginger root, pared and grated
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Method
- Mix all ingredients, except the soy sauce, in a pan and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat; cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes until plums
- are
- soft.
- Stir in soy sauce.
- Cool slightly and pour into your
- blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Refrigerate if not using immediately.
- Will keep up to 1 week.
