Ingredients
- 6 large regular bananas
- 2 c. dry wine
- 8 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
Method
- Cover large baking pan with aluminum foil.
- Grease foil with part of the butter.
- Place the peeled bananas on the cookie sheet. Cover bananas with slabs of remaining butter.
- Sprinkle 4 tablespoons light brown sugar and 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon.
- Pour dry wine over bananas and sprinkle the remaining portions of the ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 30 minutes or more.
- This may be served with "Picadillo" and white rice.
