Ingredients
- 1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple in its own juice
- 3/4 c. sugar or 1/4 c. Equal
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 2 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
- pecans or walnuts (if desired)
Method
- Drain pineapple juice into saucepan.
- Add sugar and flour. Mix well.
- Cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Cube cheese and mix with pineapple chunks.
- Pour sauce over cheese and pineapple.
- Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
- Serve warm.
- Serves 6.
