Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast (included in mix)
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
- 1 box hot roll mix
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 egg yolks
Method
- Dissolve sugar and yeast in lukewarm water in a cup until mixture foams up.
- Heat milk to lukewarm and add butter.
- Stir until melted and then add eggs.
- Mix well; add yeast mixture. Combine with flour mixture thoroughly; knead well.
- Form into a round mold and place in a greased bowl.
- Cover with a towel and set in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out about 1/4-inch thick, spread with nut filling.
- Roll up, folding ends under. Place in a well-greased baking pan and brush top with beaten mixture of 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon milk.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour in warm place.
- Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
