Ingredients
- 2 12 cups beets (canned, sliced and reserve juice)
- 12 cup vinegar
- 12 cup beet juice (from reserve)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cloves
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 3 peppercorns
- 14 bay leaf
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 12 teaspoon horseradish
Method
- Place the sliced beets in a fruit jar.
- Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Pour over the beets in fruit jar.
- Refrigerate.
- Serve chilled.
