Ingredients
- 4 medium green peppers
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
Method
- Cut green peppers in half.
- Remove seeds and wash peppers. Lightly mix ground beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can Hunt's tomato sauce.
- Fill pepper halves, arrange in baking dish. Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
- Cover tightly and bake at 350°
- for 1 hour or until peppers are tender.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
