Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. chopped green bell pepper
- 6 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. chopped or ground hot pepper (red or green)
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 bottle liquid pectin
Method
- Grind peppers using fine blade. Mix with sugar and vinegar and bring to a boil.
- Boil for 3 minutes.
- Add pectin and boil 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
- Pour in hot sterilized jars and seal.
- Jelly may be strained before adding pectin to make it clear.
