Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. + 1 Tbsp. plain flour
- 1/8 tsp. soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- powdered sugar (optional)
Method
- Melt butter in 8-inch square pan and set aside.
- Combine eggs and flavorings; beat until thickened.
- Add sugar; beat well. Combine flour, soda and salt and stir in pecans.
- Add to mixture and beat well.
- Pour mixture into buttered pan and bake 40 to 45 minutes at 325° or until done.
- Cool.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar; cut into 16 squares.
