Ingredients
- pie shell, unbaked
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 c. cream
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. pecans (if coconut pie, 1 c. coconut)
- dash of nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Method
- Mix sugar and flour.
- Add eggs, cream, syrup, nutmeg and vanilla flavoring.
- Stir in 1 cup pecans.
- Pour in unbaked pie shell and top with dots of butter.
- Bake at 350° until thick.
