Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
- whipped cream (optional)
Method
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the first 8 ingredients until smooth. Stir in nuts; pour into pie shell. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes or until set. Cool completely. Garnish with whipped cream. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
