Ingredients
- 30 inches wax paper
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 34 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 12 cup water
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 lb pecan halves
Method
- In a large saucepan combine sugars, water, salt and spices.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Boil 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in pecans until completely coated with mixture.
- Pour coated pecans onto waxed paper.
- Let cool.
- Refrigerate pecans several hours until hardened.
- Break in pieces.
