Ingredients
- 1 pkg. frozen green peas
- 2 medium potatoes
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. cold water
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 3 c. water
Method
- Peel and cut potatoes into large chunks.
- Cook potatoes with margarine in 3 cups of water until just done.
- Add green peas the last 6 minutes of cooking.
- Remove from heat.
- Combine cornstarch with 1 cup of cold water, stirring until smooth.
- Add to peas slowly while stirring.
- Stir until blended.
- Return to medium heat just until sauce is desired consistency.
- Serves 4 to 6.
