Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup puffed rice cereal, such as Kashi

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Place sesame seeds in a small saucepan over medium heat. Saute until toasted and golden, about 2 minutes. Let cool.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together honey, egg, vanilla extract, and peanut butter until evenly combined. Stir in sesame seeds and rice cereal.
  • Spread mixture in baking dish. Bake until golden, about 25 minutes. Let bars cool completely before cutting.
