Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. Hershey's Kisses
Method
- Cream sugars, shortening and peanut butter.
- Add egg, milk and vanilla.
- Then add flour, soda and salt.
- Chill dough, then roll into medium size balls and flatten with fork.
- Bake at 375° for 12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Remove from oven and place unwrapped Hershey's Kiss in center of cookie.
- Place back in oven for about 45 seconds to set.
- Makes 48 servings.
