Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Jif creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Combine peanut butter, Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla.
- Beat on medium speed.
- Add egg, then beat.
- Combine flour, salt and soda; add to creamed mixture on low speed.
- Drop heaping teaspoonful 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork.
- Bake at 375° for 7 to 8 minutes, until begins to brown.
- Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet.
- Makes 3 dozen.
