Ingredients
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Preheat oven to moderate (350°).
- Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- Beat the peanut butter and butter in a large bowl with electric mixer until well blended.
- Add sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy and light.
- Stir in flour and salt until well blended.
- Spread batter in prepared baking pan.
- Bake in prepared oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.
- Cut into 24 brownies.
