- 1-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup butter
- margarine
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Method
- Combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
- Cream butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Beat in egg.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Spread batter into a 13x9x2-inch pan.
- Bake at 375F for 15-18 minutes.
- After you take the pan out of the oven, dump the milk chocolate chips on the surface (which will be hot enough to melt them) and spread them, making a layer of milk chocolate.
- Let it cool on a rack; then, cut into bars.
