Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Pitted Dates, Divided
  • 1/4 cups Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Melted Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 cups All Natural Peanut Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Almond Extract
  • 1 dash Sea Salt

Method

  • 1.
  • Make the date syrup first.
  • Combine half of the dates with the water in a food processor until a syrup mixture is formed.
  • You may need to add a little extra water.
  • 2.
  • Combine date syrup, melted coconut oil, peanut butter, remaining half of the dates, almond extract and sea salt in food processor.
  • Process until the mixture is smooth and sticky.
  • 3.
  • Line a 5x5 baking dish with parchment paper and evenly spread mixture into baking dish.
  • 4.
  • Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Move into the fridge for another hour or until firm.
  • 5.
  • Store in the fridge.
