Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. white syrup
- 1 pt. water
- Spanish peanuts (raw)
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Boil sugar, syrup and water to 240° or until it hardens in cold water.
- Add peanuts and butter; boil until peanuts are brown. Remove from heat.
- Add soda dissolved in vanilla.
- Stir well and pour on slab and spread.
