Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pkg. Hershey's Kisses
Method
- Cream together shortening, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar.
- Add egg, milk and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Form into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 minutes at 375°.
- Remove from oven and place solid milk chocolate kiss on top of each cookie.
- Press down so that the cookie cracks around edge.
- Return to oven and bake for 1 to 2 minutes longer.
