Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. oleo
  • 3 1/4 oz. pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
  • 1 (15 oz.) can well drained peaches (save juice) *
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. juice saved from can
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt, egg, milk, oleo and pudding (not instant).
  • Beat mixture for 2 minutes on medium speed of mixer.
  • Pour into a 10-inch pie plate (greased).
  • Place well drained peaches over mixture (save juice).
  • Combine cream cheese, sugar and the reserved juice.
  • Spoon over peaches.
  • Combine sugar and cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle over cream cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Filling will appear soft.
