Ingredients
- 6 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. white sugar
- 2 c. crushed Ritz crackers
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 can peach pie filling
- Cool Whip
Method
- Beat egg whites until frothy.
- Add cream of tartar and sugar gradually.
- Beat until stiff.
- Add Ritz crackers, vanilla and chopped nuts.
- Pour into buttered pan.
- Bake 25 minutes at 325°. Cool.
- After cooling, pour pie filling over baked layer.
- Top with Cool Whip.
