Ingredients
- 3 to 4 c. sliced fresh peaches
- 1 c. sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 well-beaten egg
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 recipes pie pastry
Method
- Combine peaches, sugar, salt, egg, flour, butter and cinnamon. Pour this mixture into a prepared 6 1/2 x 10-inch rectangular dish or a 10-inch pie pan lined with pastry. Roll out second recipe for pastry and cut in strips and put on top of the pie. Bake at 400° for about 30 minutes.
