Ingredients

  • 2 c. (29 oz. can) sliced peaches
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted

Method

  • Arrange drained peaches in 10-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • Spread brown sugar over peaches. Sprinkle on cinnamon.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt; add milk and beat until smooth. Batter will be very thin.
  • Pour batter over peaches.
  • Drizzle butter over batter.
  • Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
