Ingredients
- 2 c. (29 oz. can) sliced peaches
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
Method
- Arrange drained peaches in 10-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Spread brown sugar over peaches. Sprinkle on cinnamon.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt; add milk and beat until smooth. Batter will be very thin.
- Pour batter over peaches.
- Drizzle butter over batter.
- Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
