Ingredients

  • 1 lb radiatore
  • 1 12 cups broccoli florets
  • 8 ounces turkey breakfast sausage, removed from casing
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 14 cups fat-free half-and-half
  • 1 cup canned cooked pumpkin
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 14 teaspoon salt

Method

  • Cook pasta as package directs, adding broccoli 3 minutes before pasta will be done.
  • Meanwhile, cook sausage in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat, breaking with with spoon, until cooked through, about 6 minutes.
  • Drain fat.
  • Stir in pumpkin pie spice, cook 1 minute.
  • Stir in half and half, pumpkin, sugar and salt.
  • Heat mixture to boiling and cook 1 minute longer.
