Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 oz. bittersweet chocolate
- 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
- 1/2 c. cake meal
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
Method
- Melt chocolate and shortening.
- Let cool.
- Beat 2 eggs with sugar until light.
- Blend in salt and chocolate mixture.
- Stir in coffee and cake meal.
- Bake in a greased square 8 x 8-inch pan for 25 minutes at 325°.
