Ingredients
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 8 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 (4 oz.) jar pimientos, chopped
- 1 c. water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. bread crumbs
Method
- Saute onion in butter until transparent.
- Add pimientos, water chestnuts and soup and mix well.
- Pour mixture over frozen peas in baking dish.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes.
