Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Mix chili sauce, jelly and lemon juice in bowl.
  • Spoon into 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  • Combine ground beef, eggs, salt and pepper in bowl.
  • Mix well.
  • Shape into miniature meatballs.
  • Add to mixture in pan.
  • Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 hour.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes longer.
  • Transfer to chafing dish. Serve hot with wooden picks.

  • 40 servings.
