Ingredients

  • 180 grams Pork loin sliced thinly
  • 1 bunch Asparagus
  • 1 small Carrot
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • 1 Salt and pepper
  • 1 for frying Oil

Method

  • Cut the carrots and asparagus to the same length, microwave for 1 1/2-2 minutes.
  • Evenly coat the thinly sliced meat on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Roll up the vegetables while tugging the meat a bit, and secure with toothpicks.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan, and cook until golden brown while shaking the pan back and forth.
  • Pour in the mixed ingredients around the edge of pan, roll the meat back and forth to coat in the sauce, cover with a lid, and steam cook over medium heat.
  • Roll the meat over halfway through, and it is done once it is coated in the sauce!
  • Remove the toothpicks, cut into easy-to-eat portion sizes, and enjoy.
