Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage, shredded
  • 5 stalks celery, sliced
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. pimento, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 2/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. celery seed

Method

  • Combine cabbage, celery, onions, green pepper and pimento and stir remaining ingredients in saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil and pour over cabbage mixture (do not stir).
  • Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  • Stir well before serving.
